Being back in Frome I decided that I wanted to capture the market town using infrared photography, this has been on my mind for some months. With the way the recent weather is at the moment I decided to go out and experiment.
This image was shot using a converted infrared camera whilst out in Frome during ideal condition to use infrared.

I thought I would experiment to see what infrared looks like with snow as you don't know when we might get to more.

When I got back and reviewed the images captured I noticed that the tree and cloud appear to imitate one another.

The post-processing was the largest so far with colour needing to be added to smaller sections. In all the image took about a week to create.

I first came to this location back in 2013 during my first year at college. I made many returns since but was closed off I believe it was last year. It is a very interesting place to explore, especially with a camera.
